Delco/ GM Car Radio & CD Player Repairs

Do you have a GM, Chevrolet, Pontiac, Buick, Oldsmobile or any other GM vehicle that has a Delco CD player that is not reading your CD's, clicking, ejects on it's own or kicking out the disc's when inserted?

We have learned that on the Delco and GM CD units there are 2 major problems. One problem is that the main CD printed circuit board needs to be rebuilt and the other is the laser optic eye needs to be changed.

Circuit Board Needs Rebuilding

If the problem turns out to be rebuilding the main cd printed circuit board, then that repair would fall under our one price repair. Our basic car radio repair service is $137.00 for a single cassette, or $147.00 for a single cd.  If your radio is a dual media (combo of both in the same unit), our price is $157.00 and that includes all parts and labor.

Laser Optic Eye Needs Changing

If it does turn out to be the laser optic eye, we would call you first to get your approval.

If for any reason we can not repair your CD unit or you decide you do not want us to go any further than our one price repair, then there is no charge to you. The only cost would be to return ship the radio back to you if you wanted the radio back.

Warning:

For some reason everyone thinks it is the laser optic eye when really their are other things that do go wrong in these CD mechanisms. Other repair shops will tell you it is the laser optic eye just because they can charge you more for the repair when in fact your laser optic eye is perfectly fine. Our goal is to find the problem and try to save you the most amount of money at a price that is fair for both of us. Please feel free to call us with any questions or concerns!
